CMHOC November Gathering

For November we are going back to the chapters we accidentally skipped over this summer when we did the Intro to CM session.

Please read the following selections for this meeting:

We also love hearing about books and your thoughts about books so we’ll begin each meeting with a brief time for each person to share a quote from a book they’re reading or just tell us about a current book they’re reading (optional).

Newcomers are welcome! Each chapter is independent so just jump in!

About the book “Ourselves” – It is somewhat of a self-help book themed after John Bunyan’s Holy War and is read by older CM students. It goes through all the areas of the country of “mansoul” (aka the human soul) in order to teach students (and adults) to become aware of the virtues and vices inherent in their own natures. Reading this volume gives us insight into many areas of education as well as the extent of our children’s potential and pitfalls. We’ve all been amazed at how relevant and applicable these chapters have been!
